The Final Day on the Munich to Venice Cycling Adventure, with 108km to pedal into Venice this leg of the journey starts with a relaxed ride past Lago Santa di’Croce before heading into the Italian Countryside with lots of Olive Vineyards and some rolling hills. As the day goes on the route starts to go through some more built up towns and Cities which is a bit of a shock to the system after 5 days of being away from Cities. Even with the distance the day is a pleasant one with easy cycling on mostly flat ground, with lots of varying scenery from Quiet Countryside to Historic Cities with lots of History and Architecture, through some small town and into the City of Venice. It’s always a weird feeling ending an Adventure like this, it gives me a chance to reminisce on the Roller-coaster I’ve just been on and to plan the next one.
